Unfortunately we had to cancel the last radio show. Fortunately we got another chance! So tune in at P4 Skaraborg next Friday (11/5) 11:30 AM.

And why the lack of action on this blog and with Orchid? Well, several reasons but the major one is that Thomas & I have been busy with our rockband Backwater.
But more news to come really soon! And let’s make that soon for real, and not “Orchid-soon”…

This is a clip of us performing”Tonight” live at Café La Bohemia in Lidköping. We really enjoyed playing at this cozy café and we really hope we get to do it some other time!

And now we’re talking unplugged for real! No loudspeakers what so ever.
It’s taking place at “La Bohemia”, a really nice and newly opened café in Lidköping, on the 5th of November.
But that’s not enough, Thomas is going to exhibit some of his paintings the whole day! Be sure to check them out and catch them while the price is reasonable.

So come inside, escape the horrible cold and dark November night, grab a cup of coffee, enjoy the beautiful artwork and of course, listen to the music!

Busy times for Orchid! In fact, so busy we haven’t had time to update our blog in quite some time.

Last friday we did a rainy gig at Stadsträdgården, Lidköping. We are thankful for all the support, and an especially big thanks to all of you that defied the pouring rain and showed up in your wellington boots.

Happy news is also that Orchid have allready recieved requests to play at a few summer city festivals next year.

So, the acoustic guitar is finished and now it is time for the lead vocals. Everything is going great but also pretty slowly.

Thomas have been busy working and I’ve been busy NOT working, going on vacation, travelling, eating unhealthy food, drinking wine and so forth.

Anyhow, we’re going to speed things up from now on, cause we can’t wait to get the songs finished!

We were lucky to try out a new App-making-tool for iPhone called “Red Foundry” a couple of months ago. And we were even more lucky that the whole thing was combined with a huge article in “Iphone Tidningen” number 3 this year!
The magazine can be found almost everywhere in Sweden so why don’t you pick up a copy?!

Our local newspaper here in Lidköping also wrote an article about our new album!
